The first stupa at Boudhanath was built after 600 A.D, when the Tibetan king converted to Buddhism. From its whitewashed dome to its gilded tower painted with the all-seeing eyes of the Buddha, the monument is is a must-see.

Also known as “King’s Way”, Durbar Marg is a posh neighbourhood in Central Kathmandu.
The area is home to luxury hotels, high-end shopping centres, and fine dining. It’s close to all the action in Thamel as well as major attractions like the Royal Palace and the Garden of Dreams.

Nepal is the world's premier destination for trekking, and is home to some of the most breathtaking landscapes that can be viewed by foot. Two of the most popular trekking regions are the Everest and Annapurna. The other popular treks are in the Langtang and Kanchenjunga regions.
Trek’s can range from a few days to weeks. For some routes, permits are required and hiring a friendly Nepali porter to accompany you on your travels is recommended.
